Two words for you: Fuck no.
Yeah, I'm using that kind of language here because I'm so pissed off.
Catherine Hardwicke wants to work with Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson again, and she believes that Maximum Ride will be the perfect way to do that.
Hell no. It'll be Twilight all over again, and none of us want that.
What has happened to Hollywood? I mean, I know it's been messed up since forever, but, this just doesn't work! It'll be like some cheap indie film that everyone hates. Stewart as Max makes my stomach churn, and Pattinson as Fang will just fill the WHOLE movie with Emo angst and sexual tension. Dear God, no. I don't want to watch Twilight again. And NO MORE BAD SPECIAL EFFECTS. Twilight was torturous enough.
Well, all right. Maybe the fact about Hardwicke directing doesn't send my world ablaze, but Stewart and Pattinson do. Sure, Fang is apathetic, but not THAT apathetic. And Stewart is too much of a stammering, blinking-every-second, trembling druggy. Both cannot act their way out of a paper bag. What the hell?
Anyways, tell me what you think guys! I'm interested in your feedback about this.

I haven't read the maximum ride series but I've heard a lot about it and read some excerpts and I really want to read it.
And the twilight cast will screw up the entire thing for sure! I mean... how could they cast any actor who hardly even showers?! Dx And they have absolutely no dynamic in their acting skills. Basically i am protesting their acting in general. Especially in movie adaptations of good fantasy novels.

But the series is pretty good! The first three books were fantastic, and then things got kind of iffy, because then Mr. Patterson began adding not-so-subtle undertones of "Save the planet! We must stop global warming!" Which is annoying, to me.
But nonetheless, the novels are well done, and I would rather not have Kristen and Rob play Max and Fang. Ew, just ew. : )
